Owners Betty and Merold "Frog" Hinton have spent most of their years farming, but are semi-retired now in order to devote more time to the beautiful and versatile Arabian horse. Hinton Arabians was established in 1987 when Betty took in an orphaned colt.

From there, the Hintons' added horses to their herd and became influential Arabian breeders in Illinois. The breeding program was established with the acquisition of Winmills G-Ameron, Manda De Eloueena, and Eds Witez, all horses with prestigious Polish-bred bloodlines.

Winmills G-Ameron Manda De Eloueena Eds Witez

This growth allowed Hinton Arabians to work hard to expand and continue the Witez II Polish Arabian bloodlines and become a proud member of the Witez II Breeders Alliance. It is the Mission of the Witez II Breeders Alliance to preserve and promote Purebred Arabian Horses of Witez II bloodlines. This mission includes identifying and locating owners and breeders of Arabian horses carrying Witez II bloodlines in order to form an Alliance, whereby the finest and best of the Witez II Dynasty can be brought together to perpetuate the bloodline.

Today, Hinton Arabians continues its legacy with the superb bloodlines that put the barn on the map. The Hintons' have also introduced Dutch Harness horse blood to the industry in order to continue to refine the breed and make a unique niche for themselves.
